PP2 Teacher – Excel Horizons Academy

Excel Horizons Academy invites applications for a dedicated PP2 Teacher to strengthen learners’ foundational skills and prepare them for a smooth transition to primary school.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging, learner-centred lessons.
• Strengthen early reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills.
• Use play, practical activities and suitable learning materials.
• Assess learners’ progress and provide individual support.
• Maintain classroom records and communicate regularly with parents.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour.

• A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Development and Education or a related field.
• Ability to support school readiness and different learning needs.
• Familiarity with competency-based teaching and assessment.
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience teaching PP2 is an added advantage.
• Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and have a valid TSC number.
