About the opportunity

The role

You own how our client shows up publicly, day to day on social channels, and in the more formal communication that goes to partners, employers and the press. Roughly 60% hands-on social content and community management, 40% institutional communication.

What you'll do

  • Plan and produce content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube, including shooting and editing short video at our client's branches.
  • Grow the channels deliberately, not incidentally: test formats, read the numbers, do more of what works.
  • Manage comments and DMs, answer or route enquiries from prospective students and candidates, and log every lead properly.
  • Tell candidates' stories: successful placements, exam successes, and the different pathways people take to get there.
  • Write announcements, newsletters, partner-facing updates and website copy.
  • Support employer and institutional communication abroad alongside the Managing Director.
  • Report monthly on reach, engagement and enquiries generated.

What you’ll bring

What our client is really looking for

A track record of building an audience. If you've grown and managed an Instagram or TikTok account past 25,000 followers, your own or on behalf of a brand, we want to talk to you. Tell us which account, where it stood when you took it on, and what you did to grow it.

Also needed

  • Strong written English
  • Ability to produce and edit short-form video yourself (CapCut or equivalent)
  • Solid photography skills
  • Sound judgment handling public complaints and sensitive candidate information
  • Educational background in Mass Media, Communication, Journalism, Fine Art or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with content scheduling and social media management tools (for example Meta Business Suite, Buffer or Hootsuite)
  • Ability to read analytics across social platforms and turn the numbers into clear monthly reports and recommendations
  • Good organisation and time management, able to keep a content calendar running while handling daily community management
  • Creativity and initiative: you spot trends, suggest new formats and see ideas through from concept to publication
  • Flexibility to travel to branches and to work on events or campaigns outside normal hours when needed

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in German
  • Experience in education, recruitment or migration
  • Paid social (Meta Ads) experience
