About the opportunity

We're looking for an Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team.

Classic Mouldings has been working on interiors in Kenya since 1991 — homes, hospitality projects, and commercial spaces. We're looking for someone who wants to learn the trade on real sites, alongside experienced surveyors and project managers.

This isn't entirely a desk job. You'll be taking measurements, working on live projects, and building the skills that matter.

What you'll do:

Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates
Take site measurements and track material usage
Prepare quotations and process subcontractor payments
Monitor project costs and track variations
Ensure projects stay within approved budgets
Liaise with suppliers, site teams, and clients
Read and interpret architectural and technical drawings

What you’ll bring

What we're looking for:

Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction, or a related field
2–3 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction projects
Experience in interior fit-out, joinery, or finishing works — strong advantage
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Ability to read technical and architectural drawings
Honesty, organisation, and the ability to work under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
