TutorKE is an online tuition platform connecting learners with tutors for personalised lessons and small-group classes. The platform brings together lesson bookings, online teaching, homework and learner progress updates.

We invite qualified and passionate tutors to join our teaching community and help learners build understanding, confidence and subject knowledge.

Teaching opportunities

We welcome applications from tutors experienced in one or both of the following curricula:

• Kenyan CBC/CBE: Pre-primary, primary, junior school and senior school.
• Cambridge: Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, International AS Level and A Level.

Applicants should specify the subjects and levels they can confidently teach. Tutors qualified in both curricula can include both in their profiles.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging online lessons for individual learners and small groups.
• Prepare lesson materials suited to each learner’s curriculum, level and needs.
• Explain concepts clearly and provide guided practice.
• Help learners with revision, examination preparation and areas of difficulty.
• Set appropriate homework, review submitted work and provide constructive feedback.
• Share learning progress and recommended next steps with parents or guardians.
• Keep your teaching availability up to date and attend confirmed lessons punctually.
• Maintain professional conduct and protect learners’ privacy and wellbeing.

• Relevant teaching qualifications and strong subject knowledge.
• Teaching or tutoring experience in the curriculum and levels selected.
• Clear communication skills, patience and a learner-focused approach.
• Confidence using online teaching tools and digital learning materials.
• Reliable internet, a suitable computer and a working microphone.
• A quiet environment suitable for live online lessons.
• Willingness to provide qualifications, references and TSC registration details for review and participate in a demonstration lesson.
